One of the biggest clients you can get in Australia is the Federal Government.

Consonant completed three projects for the Australian Taxation Office, providing Adam Dennis as a Technical Advisor to a project team that's building a tax administration Web site for internal OECD use.

The multilingual nature of the project raised many technology challenges. Work on the second phase of the site required research and facilitation of a comprehensive security solution that meets the requirements of all participating governments.

The broad scope of this project resulted in Adam performing a wide range of tasks:
- design and construction of draft site in HTML
- preparation of requirements documentation
- provision of advice on appropriate technologies
- assistance with evaluation of tenders
- liaising with vendors throughout the development phase
- development and maintenance of project team website
- development and co-ordination of acceptance testing
- co-ordination of multilingual site testing
- training of international staff in site administration
- training of staff in metadata and document classification
- facilitating security discussions at international meetings, and
- liaison with Defence Signals Directorate regarding security standards.
