Kosdown Printing are a printing firm, but not just any printing firm. They were the first in Australia to have computer-to-print technology, they operate 24 hours a day, and they have the equipment and expertise to print, bind and deliver most jobs the next day.

They handle everything up to A2 printing - brochures, newsletters, flyers, books, posters ... the lot! They even have their own photographer to take their customers' artwork and a dedicated delivery service.

Clients are encouraged to come and look through the premises and check their jobs on the press. It's obvious that they take printing seriously, with an established loyal staff who know their job. But while there's an underlying urgency to the work, there's is also a culture that encourages having a chat about the football.

Consonant was approached to build the firm's Web site. The tasks involved:
- observing their operations for an afternoon to determine what content would be necessary,
- reviewing existing Kosdown promotional material to get a feel for presentation,
- designing and building the site, and
- automating the handling of email coming from the site.
